Course Focus

This retreat is for those looking to live with harmony and peace of mind. Based on the principles that well-defined agreements based on personal values allow for better communication, enhanced mutual understanding, and deeper relationships, this retreat will help you develop your own agreements for better living. Who can benefit? Anyone looking to clarify their understanding of their values and how to use those values to shape a better way of communicating.  For couples, families, or even business owners seeking to improve the quality of their work environment.

Course Description

Experience profound learning working with equine coaches to discover deeper levels of awareness about yourself and how you relate to others.

  • Develop awareness of what you value in communication and relationships
  • Create meaningful agreements for relationships to share those values with others
  • Explore how clear agreements can deepen relationships, prevent misunderstandings, and promote deeper listening.
  • Learn about the power of physical listening—learning to not just hear with your ears but take in unspoken cues from body language & posture.
  • Embrace mindfulness in the beautiful environment of Pine Knoll Farm

About Teacher

Jenny-Marie is an avid horsewoman and a passionate student of wellness & healing. She is a licensed acupuncturist and herbalist with additional training in functional nutrition and Equine Gestalt Coaching TM. Her work with humans and horses as an Equine Gestaltist TM  has been described as “profoundly healing”. Past participants have described her retreats as “life-changing”, “magical” and “unlike anything I expected and yet everything I needed to see myself in a new way”.

Agenda

Friday, April 12

Arrival: Guests can begin arriving as early at 1 pm to enjoy the grounds and settle into their space (all times EST). This experience involves our equine partners—times are intentionally vague, but guests can plan to be busy on the property from 9 am – 5 pm daily.

Dinners will be at 6 pm and a breakfast buffet will be available from 8- 8:45 each morning.
